Life is really beautiful and eating good food will make it better ♥

I love bread, spread a little bit of goat cheese, rucola, tomatoes and pinch of black pepper.. ahh.. heaven

but thing is I’m the worst baker in the world, I used to bake stonehard bread, yummy!!

Now I’ve determined to learn how to bake, I start with this Jamie Oliver’s recipe, everyone says it’s easy.

In the end it was really good, honey-banana breads. Actually my dad asked me to bake some more for him too.. just add a little bit of real butter when taking out from oven.. mm. good!!

You can do whatever u want to apparently, just think that u can, then it’ll happen!!

I always have been interested about food and about the things you put in your mouth. When I was eleven (mid 90’s) I started to be a vegetarian, my mom, my teachers at school tried to changed my mind, couldn’t happen.

I was a vegetarian until around my twenties, that was when I went to Australia and fell in love with BBQ foods haha, but now I’ve started it again and it feels good, really good and I’m not gonna change anymore

I still eat meat, but not in my everyday life and I usually try to get meats like reindeer or moose, it tastes better and definitely is better for you than produced meat.
Chicken meat is best when it’s grilled, good sauce and with the skin yam!
But I don’t want to eat produced, filled with antibiotics chicken so I stopped eating it. But when you’ll try a real Chicken from a farm, freshly killed and it has lived a long and happy life, that’s good. Actually after that you can’t eat chicken from the supermarket…

I love fish, especially raw fish. Everything goes: sushi, coldsmoked, salted, seviche. I’m going to post here THE Best Seviche recipe, you’ll going to love it, it’s a mix of Peruvian and Philipino dish, yam!! Thing is I’m in Finland so the right fish is hard to get and I need to find good chillies too, and that is harder to find than you’d think.

Good things are sometimes hard to find! and I’m trying to be good girl and buy only eco-friendly fish, no more overfishing!!

I know.... Yellowfin from the market....

A spark about writing this blog came to me, when I was eating lunch in a Finnish chain café. I saw a cake catalogue and it had listed all the indegriedents, and the amount of E:s of those cakes and breads.

I reckon people don’t really know what they eat and I’m not certain if many of them care.

In Finland they started an advertising campaign for pig meat that is better for your heart. The thing is how can pig meat be better for your heart? no matter what that pig eats…
But they can’t advertise that this pig meat is good for your heart or heart-friendly. They have to use similar words which really don’t mean a thing. It’s same with politics, beauty, foods whatever they’ll make up words that will make you want to buy their products, without you even noticing it.

How can people be more interested what they are feeding to their pets or what kind of petrol are they using in their cars, instead of what are themselves putting in their mouth??
